| All hitters want to hit for a high batting average. Based on hitter size and ability, the best type of hitting is agreed upon during the first lesson. Everyone should experience all phases of hitting to determine the best method. All hitters need to be able to bunt the ball. Hitters are taught primarily to use a compact power swing – using the hips, upper body and the arms to generate swing speed. More experienced hitters will face some live pitching to help in better understanding the strike zone.
We highly recommend a series of 4 lessons for each hitter. |
